Ashley Park House B&B Description:

In the middle of Tipperary, Ashley Park home is set in 76 acres of beech forest and formal gardens. This fine eighteenth century home is approached through a stone arch, then a long driveway presenting beautiful picturesque sights of the vista over lake Ourna ("lake of the barley"), framed by historic forts on the shore and the Slieve Bloom Mountains beyond.

The home has been faithfully revitalized to its orginal splendour and highlights fine period furniture. The big customer guest rooms overlook the lake or the the courtyards. customers are encouraged to wander through the walled gardens, past the gazebo and gardener's cottage, and pick fruit from the orchard. Or they can row around the lake, perhaps trying their hand at fly-fishing or visiting the ruins of the fort on the island.
