Atwestpoint is a well laid out Bed and Breakfast, where your privacy is always respected. For your luxury the home is non-smoking, very nicely decorated, has a stunning back garden, well laid out lawn and shrubbery with seasonal flowers-in-bloom. guest rooms are spacious, beautifully styled and clean, all are with private bathroom with orthopaedic beds and electric blankets, tv, tea / coffee making conveniences and hairdryers. There is a expansive customer living room where one can relax, read, watch TV or only benefit from a 'plain old chat' with additional guests.

Westpoint is located in Salthill, a peaceful residential vicinity of Galway's costal suburb, with complimentary customer off street parking, is on the City Bus Route and is well serviced by Taxi / Cabs. It is roughly 100 meters over sea level and from the home there are outstanding picturesque sights of the vista of Galway Bay and the Clare Hills.

The granite wall to the front dates back to the 1840's 'the famine era', as a result of development very little of this original wall remains on the road. During this era the regional landlord created employment for his labourers by building the wall right down to the beach and paid them every day with enough porridge to feed their families.

It is a ten min down hill stroll to the Beach and seven mins car ride to the City Centre, outstanding directions are obtainable to arrive at the home and to get to the city.

Westpoint is an perfect location to undertake day trips of Connemara, the Burren or Aran Islands. Coach trips of Connemara and the Burren are obtainable and collection can be organized from Westpoint.
