Ballyseede Castle is perfectly located, on the primary Tralee / Killarney road, two Kilometer east of Tralee. The fifteenth century Ballyseede Castle is an perfect location for a memorable vacation. The castle hotel still is an imposing three-storey stone building, with a cut-stone doorcase, following a broad flight of steps up to the hall door. The impressive lobby highlights doric columns leading to an tasteful wooden staircase of fine oak joinery that is almost distinctive in Ireland.

The 12 deluxe guest rooms are expansive and tasteful with a range from independently planned single to mini suites available. Two marvelous drawing rooms with cornices of ornamental foliage plasterwork adorned by marble open fires invite customers to spend comfortable evenings in front of the fire. The castle's dining room overlooks the lawn with its historic oaks. The bistro boasts a fine choice of continental food in addition to numerous long established Irish dishes.
