Buttermilk Lodge Description:

At the edge of Clifden, on the N59 Westport Road. AA Four Red Diamonds (awarded to the top 10% only), RAC 5 Diamonds, Irish tourist board 3 *** Guesthouse. "RAC Sparkling Diamond Award" - presented in recognition of outstanding standards of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail and "RAC cozy Welcome" - presented in recognition of outstanding standards of hospitality.

Location is ideal: Canon's Lane, a peaceful laneway, leads from the end of the driveway to Church Hill and down to the town centre - less than 5 mins strolling distance. Being located on the Westport roadway the Lodge is very simple to discover and there is exclusive parking lot to the front and rear of the house.

Comfortable guest rooms with old-fashioned beds. Spacious, with satellite TVs, radio alarm clocks, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, and exclusive bathtub and / or shower rooms as standard. All our guest rooms and living room zones are non-smoking.

Early breakfasts and packed lunches are obtainable once ordered the previous evening. Drying conveniences for angling / strolling gear etc, and storage space (for bicycles etc.), and a laundry service is additionally available.
