The cottage was advertised as recently refurbished. But that is not true. The shower over the bath was impossible to turn on unless you stood in the bath which you had to in order to reach the taps because the shower door was fitted incorrectly. Toilet seat wasn't fitted properly and moved when using it. Whole house was plagued with flies especially in the bedrooms. We had to use fly killer every night. Window frames were disgusting, with flies and mould and dirt behind the net curtains. Pots and pans we had to wash before using because of the dirt we found in the other rooms - we were of the opinion that these would'nt have received much attention. The description of the cottage was untrue. The view of the lake could not be seen from any part of the cottage for the simple reason the hedge was too tall. The photo of the outside of the property is deceiving as the paint work was shabby, the grounds hadn't been maintained. The charge of 22 euros for electricity, when we were only in at night and used very little beggers belief. As this property is on the Irish Tourist board listing we will be sending our comments to them also.
