The hotel is decorated in the Gothic style with cut stone, and features arches, fireplaces and a comfortable lounge area. Waiting aroud for ages. Receptionist answering phones while checking you in. No help with the bags. Rooms where a maze to get to especially with a young child and no prior warning. Breakfast was awful. The majority of the staff where unfriendly and unhelpful. We felt like we were intruding on their busy time. The whole experience was completely lacking the Irish service and hospitality you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The rest of our party went camping up the road and had a much more pleasant experience than us. I would never go again and would never recommend to a friend.
