In Gaelic `coolangatta' means "splendid water view" and Coolangatta Country home certainly has one of those, enjoying as it does a beautiful position with a commanding view over lake Derg. This spectacular contemporary building completed in 1992 has Scandinavian-style high ceilings with lots of pine and exposed beams. There are 3 expansive guest rooms with exclusive bathrooms, a separate lounge with television and tea / coffee-making facilities. comprehensive breakfast menu is available. long established music nights and set dancing tuition is available.
