Portsalon is home to Ballymastocker Bay, a very popular recreational area surrounds this lovely village. Portsalon Golf Club is a delightful 18 hole links laced by a triple beach at one end and adorned by the wild beauty of Lough Swilly and the Inishowen Peninsula to the east. Ballydaheen Gardens in Portsalon is a six acre garden with private access to the seven arches. The seven arches is a set of seven interconnecting caves, which are accessible by a cliff stairway.
