Egan's house is an elegant terrace of Edwardian houses situated in a quiet, residential area only a stroll away from Dublin's world famous Botanical Gardens. Also located nearby is Europe's largest park, the Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo. We are conveniently located just 7km from Dublin Airport (direct bus route and only 10 minutes by car) and a mere 2km to the ferry port. And the city centre is only a 20 minutes walk from the city centre and trendy Temple Bar. Each of our 32 bedrooms consists of ensuite bathroom, colour television, direct dial telephone, Bewley's tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, electronic safe (large enough to hold laptop), hairdryer, iron and ironing board and hot towel rail. 10 of our rooms also come equipped with television/video combo and over 100 movies to pick from! We enjoyed just one night in Egan House. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe, and included good parking places. It is very close to city centre, just 10 minutes by bus. The welcome was good, but sitting behind a 'window' creates to much distance, and doesn't feel friendly. We had to leave early, so we cannot say anything about breakfast. | From O'Connell street continue the traffic left onto Parnell Square and swing right up the hill. Turn right at the traffic lights and go straight along Dorset Street.
