For the last 4 years we have used the Ferry View House as our start and endpoint of our Ireland journeys. They´re very friendly, close to the airport (10km) by car and it´s direct on the Dublin bay and you have a wonderful view and Howth and Bulls Island are just around the corner (2-5km) for wonderful walks. They gave us good recommendations for dinner and leisure activities. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is up to your choice (Full Irish or Continental). As vegetarians we had mostly scrambled eggs and you have a collection of cereals and toast. If we spend our holidays in Ireland next year, we are surely booking the Ferry View House for our arrival and departure days again.
