Two storey Georgian style home with a commanding view over Donegal Bay. It is a family run B&B. Set on exclusive grounds with private lawn for tourists use. located 1 Kilometer from Donegal Town it is perfect as a exploring base. regional vicinity provides Sandy beaches, golfing and Craft Village.

We are at home after a longer journey from Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland including the Edinburgh Festival. Donegal was one of our most prefered stops, and we liked the B&B "Island View" very much. Everything was proper, clean and nice and of great comfort. We chose this B&B, for we had been there some years before. Unfortunately our well known romm Nr 2 with the best view to the garden and island was not free on the day of our arrival, but we enjoyed it the other two nights very much. We are a little bit in trouble, we would like to recommend "Island View" very much, but if we do so, we think, it may be crowded with other guest when we want to come back.
