Cottages are developed in the long established style with slate roof, petite windows and whitewashed walls. 3 guest room bungalows sleep 7 people whilst the 2 bedroomed sleep 4, with the option of sleeping a fifth person on the double couch-bed in the living-room. The feature of the Livingroom is the old-style open fire with irons etc, a pine dresser and the Liscannor Stone floor. guest rooms are carpeted, and kitchenette and bathroom benefit from tiled floors. Accommodation: 3* registered accommodation 2 / 3 guest rooms Livingroom Fitted kitchenette 4 ring electric cooker with grill and oven, fridge, 750w Microwave, vacuum cleaner, washer / dryer, kettle, iron / ironing board, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils and crockery / glassware / cutlery. Bathroom on first floor with bath, whb and wc. Electric shower over bathtub in the smaller cottages. Double guest room on first floor additionally has whb. NB In the larger bungalows the triple room upstairs is with private bathroom with electric shower, whb and wc. TV with RTE1, RTE2 and TG4 only. (Video and Radio not provided). Cots and High chairs obtainable on request. Bed bedclothes provided i.e. duvets, covers, sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Linen supplied for baby cots. Towels NOT provided. Restaurant and bar Grub obtainable locally. Blue flag beach in the vicinity - Carramore. NB - No Pets Allowed. Arrivals / Departures: Check-in time is between 3.00 and 6.00 p.m. on day of arrival. Check-out at 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. |

The house is in an estate of holiday homes with large green area - safe for children. It is walking distance from a small beach and the town which has a few lovely restaurants and pubs. The house was clean and comfortable with the added quaintness of being laid out as an Irish cottage with open fireplace yet having all the necessary modcons of dishwasher/washing machine/electric shower/television. The staff were friendly and helpful and the accomodation was reasonably priced.
