Accommodation in Edenderry

An ancient town on the edge of the Bog of Allen, Edenderry became an inland port in 1802 when a spur of the Grand Canal was built to serve it. It offers excellent angling, golf and skydiving. It was a thriving centre in medieval times, with several monasteries and castles to maintain the spiritual and temporal wellbeing of its inhabitants.
