Opened in August 2006, the Fitzwilton hotel is a wonderfully crafted 3* city centre hotel in Waterford City presenting the utmost in luxury and cordiality to all its guests. The hotel is recently constructed and sits on the site before occupied by the Metropole. The Fitzwilton is modern in style blending long established woods with contemporary art and funky lighting. Dish bistro provides a varied menu to suit all tastes with a heavy emphasis on European style cuisine prepared with just the most prominent of regional Irish produce. Aqua pub has all the ingredients to guarantee an enjoyable late afternoon combining wood and leather with relaxing sofas and booths. The hotel boasts 90 sumptuous guest rooms and an astonishing penthouse suite that provides astounding picturesque sights of the vista across Waterford City. The hotel is entirely non smoking.
