A two hundred year old Georgian residence, The harbor Masters home is located on the banks of the Grand Canal.

All rooms are en-suite. The home is wonderfully styled and supplied with all contemporary conveniences and comforts. Oil-fired central heating and open fires. The stunning manicured private lawns offer an vicinity for intimate restful tranquillity. Fishing, boating and bars are all within 50 metres in the beautiful village of Shannon Harbour. Boats, engines and bicycles are obtainable for rental locally.

Tourist places of interest nearby consist of the monastic historic settlement of Clonmacnoise, Birr Castle, Heritage Museum, Slieve Bloom Mountains, boat trips, golf, pitch and putt, outstanding coarse fishing, and up to 200 cruisers to admire in the canal in front of the house.
